Dear Friends and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you this day. I feel that each of you is owed an apology for being dragged into the "Blog-O-Sphere" (the only more despicable medium being that of Twitter). However, I weighed my options and this seemed the most reasonable as those of you with more discerning taste have the option to wash your hands of the matter and never be tainted by the association again. That being said, I have come to realize that I have been failing in my charge keep friends and family aware of facts as basic as my current country of residence.
So here we stand... I sincerely hope the recounting of my many recent (mis)adventures will be worth being besmirched by your association my unfortunate shotgun wedding with technological convenience.
